Let’s be honest, a day in quarantine can quickly become an endless spiral of staying in your jammies and binge watching reruns of the office (might be speaking from experience…) but it’s so important to give yourself a break from technology and go outside! Staying home has become a lot more fun since we revamped our outdoor space. The only thing we were missing was a pool, so we decided to create our own little desert paradise on a budget (less than $50)!
Matt had been talking about getting one of these mini adult pools for months…so it seemed like the perfect time to do it! We can both fit in the pool with room to spare so if you’re at home by yourself or have just a few people in your household this would be perfect for you. For the amount of fun we’re having it’s already one of my favorite home purchases and it only cost $42! I love the geometric pattern since it fits in perfectly with our other patio decor.
We purchased these blue Adirondack Chairs last year from Target and they’re perfect for our little “pool” area! Many times during the week I’ll sit under our covered patio and drink my coffee or eat lunch, while I prefer to sit in these chairs to work on my tan. Just adding a few touches of decor like greenery or an outdoor lantern will make your space feel like a resort. Speaking of tanning…my bikini set and sunless tanner are both from Amazon! (size up in the bikini, it runs small.)
Thank you so much for checking out today’s post! Stay tuned for part two of our patio makeover and let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.
